For over 70 years, SKF Marine<\/a> has provided innovative solutions and expertise in marine components. SKF Marine offers a comprehensive portfolio of high-quality components for the shipping industry, including high-performance side stabilizers designed to ensure smooth sailing in waves. In cooperation with the company Nietiedt Stahl- und Metallbau GmbH <\/a>, the assembly openings on the fins and parts of the outer skin of various stabilizers were closed and welded again. Due to the material thickness (up to 25mm), the MAG welding process<\/a> (136) with a rutile filler wire was chosen. All seams were then subjected to visual and, in some cases, ultrasonic testing.<\/p>\n
